Twofour has produced a 6-part series led by the Royal Horticultural Society and funded by Teachers' TV, the DfES Growing Schools Initiative and the Helen Hamlyn Trust as part of its Open Future programme. As well as being broadcast on Teachers' TV the series is available as part of a comprehensive teachers' pack on DVD. Designed to help teachers incorporate gardening, cooking and related skills into schools the programmes feature all ages of children from a secondary school in Sittingbourne, where behaviour and attendance has dramatically improved since the boys become involved in community gardening, to a primary in Manchester that is building an ambitious rooftop vegetable garden.
