Twofour has been appointed by the Health and Social Care Faculty of the Open University, to create learning assets for the new Working Together For Children course which has been designed to support the government's 'Every Child Matters' social policy agenda. The government's aim is for every child, whatever their background or circumstances, to have the support they need to be healthy, safe, happy, to make a positive contribution and to achieve economic well being. Twofour's video resource for the Open University is designed to help with the teaching of undergraduates who want to work with children , across all types of agencies, from teaching through to social work. It will demonstrate best practice for working across agencies - from schools and hospitals, to police and voluntary groups, and explain how multi-agency working promotes the well being of young people. Filmed in schools and playcentres in Swansea, Stirling and Birmingham, Working Together For Children is being produced/directed by Twofour's Joanna Traynor and the films, produced on DVD, will be ready for the course starting in January 2008.
