Twofour, one of the fastest growing broadcast television and business communications companies in the UK, has strengthened its Communications team with the appointments of Thea Cole, former Creative Head at Red Bee Media, to the role of Executive Producer and Amber Key as an Account Handler across its rapidly growing new Twofour Health division.
Cole is an experienced series producer and development executive. At Red Bee Media she series produced Business 2025 for BBC World, delivered Watch Over Me, a drama for schools endorsed by the Home Secretary and created ad-funded programming sponsored by leading brands such as IKEA and Renault. She also has a strong background in broadcast media having worked as a producer/director across features, outside broadcasts, presentation, promos and branding.
Commenting on the appointments, Charles Mills, Managing Director, Twofour Communications, said: “Thea and Amber will be joining a 50-strong communications team, which is bringing TV together with web 2.0 for a number of big clients. They will be an incredibly valuable asset to Twofour. Their combination of television production and business experience is a perfect match for the work we do in learning, with leading brands and with public sector organisations.”
Cole said: “I grew up in the West Country and it’s great to be back, but Twofour is why I’m here. I am really excited to be joining the company at a time when convergent media is truly becoming reality – the challenge for me is how to harness new technology to really enhance content creation for a varied mix of clients. I’m delighted to be working with such an innovative and energetic team and I’m looking forward to focusing on audience strategy and creative solutions for a wide range of new and existing clients.”
Key was formerly an Editor at APA-accredited agency Tullo Marshall Warren where she managed website content and magazines for brands including Flora pro.activ, T-Mobile and Capital One. She began her career at Haymarket Publishing before moving to Dennis, John Brown and Euromoney-owned Capacity.
