Private Jenkins Is.., Twofour's hard-hitting, thought provoking training film designed to highlight the importance of maintaining Operational Security (OPSEC) in theatre, has been nominated for two prestigious International Visual Communications Association (IVCA) awards.  It has been shortlisted in the Practical Training category (for films made specifically to train people in practical procedures, techniques and operations) and for Best Direction in the Production Arts and Crafts section. 

The Ministry of Defence commissioned Twofour to produce a film which would explain the devastating consequences that can result from an enemy intercepting information.  Filmed in North Devon and on the Salisbury Plain it had to look like an operational environment similar to Afghanistan.  So the rainy conditions where a challenge for the production team, the specially trained actors, the 40 plus soldiers who took part as extras and of course the make-up artist.  Private Jenkins Is... which was directed by Roy Jones is aimed at all ranks up to and including Brigade Commander and will be used as part of their pre -deployment brief.

The IVCA is the professional body for the corporate and public sector communications industry and the IVCA Awards are recognised internationally as marks of excellence for communication.  The Awards ceremony takes place on 27 March at the Grosvenor Hotel, London.
