Twofour has created four new programmes for Teachers TV.  Produced to support the Primary Cross Curriculum: Learning Outside the Classroom initiative, the series will go out throughout the day on Monday 5 October.

Each episode features a different School and documents its journey into creating a practical and outdoor curriculum to inspire core curricular learning and provide a cross curricular platform from which can grow confident, capable and engaged learners.  From CSI STYLE – ‘Who’s been eating our strawberries?’ science investigations to digging ponds, from going out for an Indian meal to whole school potato growing competitions, this series documents the adventures of four schools who seek to harness life outside the classroom.  We hear the stories and thoughts of those people involved in making this happen in each school and see the results of their efforts in lessons and activities.  We show a range of pupils of primary age benefiting from a creative curriculum which seeks to engage and inspire them, to give them valuable life skills and to instill an understanding of, and responsibility towards, the world around them.
