Twofour is producing a series of films for two ambitious Big Lottery Fund projects – Heroes Return 2 and Village SOS.

Twofour has made three films for the Big Lottery Fund’s Heroes Return 2 programme - a moving project which takes WW2 veterans back to the places where they fought. One film features 91 year old Larry Taylor who went to Holland where he unveiled a memorial organised by a 17 year old student who lived in the town, and another film hears from Jack Fowler who was a prisoner of war in Singapore and Taiwan. Twofour is also involved in the Big Lottery Fund’s Village SOS programme in which 28 villages bid to be one of six projects to receive funding to develop a business that will improve their rural community. Twofour has been commissioned to make a short film for each of the 28 villages, located across the UK - from the far north of Scotland to the tip of Cornwall. Village SOS is a major initiative in partnership with the BBC in which the six winners will be supported by an entrepreneur or ‘ Village Champion’ who will live with them for a year, helping them to realise their business idea.
