ITV Westcountry opens new Plymouth office at Twofour

ITV Westcountry has announced its plans to move to new premises at Twofour’s offices in Plymouth.
The exciting move will see two of the largest TV companies in the South West working side by side in a new media centre for Plymouth.
The West Country Tonight team of journalists, camera crew and editors based in Plymouth will be relocated to the new site early in the Spring.
Regional Director of ITV West and Westcountry Jane McCloskey said, “I’m delighted to announce that we will continue to have a strong presence in Plymouth and it makes perfect sense to work alongside such a big and exciting production house as Twofour. Our association with the team at Twofour is a long standing one and I’m sure this new alliance will work brilliantly for us both.”
Chief Executive of Twofour, Charles Wace said, “There is a strong and powerful synergy with ITV. We have a good relationship with ITV and this move helps to cement that.”
ITV Westcountry will also retain its offices in the Met office in Exeter and in Truro as well as having teams of journalists and camera crews strategically spread across the region. When an important story breaks ITV will be able to deploy teams to bring the news live from location and update on unfolding stories. ITV’s regional news gathering operation in and around the region is, and will continue to be, of the highest standard and maintaining a presence in Plymouth is key to that.
