Jools Holland helps launch multi-sensory software developed by HMC Interactive (part of the Twofour Group)

Twofour Communications managed the launch yesterday (11May), in London’s Rich Mix Studios in Bethnal Green, of Visual Voice Pro - an immersive sound to light environment that will benefit children with learning and physical disabilities.
The project developed by Twfour’s HMC Interactive with Drake Music and bibic is part of Media Sandbox, the South West development programme that each year provides funding and support to companies to enable them to develop and research ideas that will then help to grow their company.
Jools Holland, Musician and Broadcaster said of his involvement in the project: “I am delighted to endorse Visual Voice Pro. Music is a powerful medium, and to see it made visual in a way that can help people is very exciting. Visual Voice Pro is a great tool that can benefit anybody who wants to find a new way to experience the magic of sound.”
Visual Voice Pro is a piece of sound reactive software that requires only a laptop or a PC and a projector to create an immersive environment ideal for sensory rooms, sensory gardens and sensory integration therapy. Visual Voice Pro uses a microphone to listen to all the sounds in the room, from footsteps to laughter to singing or even banging a drum. The software then instantly processes the sounds to create abstract, beautiful graphics that illuminate the wall via the projector or screen. The different graphic settings range from bold energetic shapes to gentle calming scenes. Ideal for use with groups and one-to-one sessions, Visual Voice Pro can be simply adapted to different needs. A wireless controller makes it easy to change the display at any moment.
