Are you prepared for a crisis?
Do you have a strategy?
Is your organisation capable of carrying-on in business and talking to the press in a crisis situation?
How would your team react under the glare of the media spotlight?

Twofour Media Skills has many years of experience in all forms of journalism and, as part of the Twofour Group, a through knowledge of television production and the wider business world. We have joined forces with Formedia, a PR company with extensive experience of managing media crisis, to create bespoke training courses that will prepare your company to survive in the event of disaster.

Bring your team to our studios and really experience how it feels to be put under pressure by the media.

The course will help your team:

  • Understand the needs, priorities and methods of the media
  • Encourage team building and leadership skills
  • Develop confidence and skills to deal with the media
  • Gain practical media interviews experience
  • Cope in a crisis situation
  • Work together under intense pressure
  • Make quick decisions and use their knowledge and initiative

And, more importantly, help your business be one of the 10% that survive a crisis

Preparation: Prior to the day the course directors will meet you to gain a thorough understanding of your business and its specific requirements, and to test the fundamental systems in place at your organisation. This will ensure a tailor-made crisis management scenario that is both appropriate and relevant to your business.

On the day: Your team will experience an evolving crisis, comprising:

  • Training in how to handle Press, Radio and Television interviews, not forgetting the internet.
  • A ‘real time’ evolving crisis - totally relevant and realistic
  • A news reporter, camera operator and editor
  • A specialist media crisis PR consultant on hand
  • Your every move and reactions as a team analysed

We are holding a series of evening crisis management events throughout the UK.

The next event is on Thursday 11th October 4.45pm – 6.30pm at the Back 2 Business incident recovery centre in Plymouth.
