Web TV - Show me for AOL

Web TV

With over 60% of UK Internet users using broadband, creating a dynamic web presence based on video and rich media content is now a practical reality. Twofour's combination of content production expertise and technical infrastructure helps brands to build webTV channels that drive transactions, public engagement and sales.

Case study: Show Me - Produced for AOL

Twofour is producing a wide ranging series of how-to guides and instructional videos for AOL's 'Show Me', the award winning, self-help guides which can be watched for free via www.aolshowme.co.uk.

AOL Show Me contains how-to guides and instructional videos, to help people learn and share their own tips on how to do things. The films cover everything from hobbies and crafts, fashion and beauty, household tasks and DIY to motoring and travel. Users can also upload their own videos, pictures and text to impart their expertise, knowledge and tips to other visitors to the site. The content is designed to inform and entertain, while providing tips on anything from measuring your bra size, to changing the tyre on a car, from how to perform magic tricks to pole dancing. For Valentine's Day, AOL specifically commissioned Twofour to produce eight "Lessons in Love". The 'Show Me' style films presented by TV presenter and "sexpert" Tracey Cox covered such thorny issues as why chat up lines don't always work, why women flirt better than men, and which sex is better than the other at chucking their partner.

Niall McOnegal, Director of Content Acquisition, AOL added: Twofour is the ideal partner for us to commission short films to help populate our new 'how to' and instructional video site called 'Show Me'. The range of three-minute video pieces cover diverse topics such as how to bleed a radiator or pack a suitcase, to basic dancing tips and office exercises to how to upload your own video."
